Have there ever been any comments from Archive.org about discouraging or trying to prevent anything like this?

I have no problem with something that downloads only one file at a time, the point, to me, is being able to tell a program, "Download these files," then leave the computer and let it get what I've asked for without me having to click all the links.

In the FAQ, AI recommends FileZilla for FTP downloads. I think that's where I got the program.

Good luck!
